Privacy
sift has no user accounts and no server that processes your data. It's a static site — a document, not an application.
Analytics
sift uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-first analytics service. It measures aggregate traffic data — page views, referrers, and device type — without cookies or personal identifiers.
Your browser
sift remembers which discussions you've visited so it can dim them on return. Your theme preference is stored the same way. Both are saved in your browser's localStorage and never leave your device.
Third parties
No third-party tracking scripts. No ad networks. No social media pixels. The only external request is Cloudflare's analytics beacon.
